EcoDataCenter Plans for New Financial Leadership in 2025

EcoDataCenter has announced plans to transition its financial leadership as part of its ongoing journey to becoming a significant player in the European data center industry. A new CFO will join in 2025 as the current CFO, Josefina Xanthou, steps down.

EcoDataCenter’s recent strategic milestones include a partnership with CoreWeave and the announcement that it will host Europe’s first NVIDIA DGX GB200 SuperPod, underscoring the company’s growing presence in the data center industry.

“We are gearing up to become a major player in the European market,” said Peter Michelson, CEO of EcoDataCenter. “As part of this journey, we are excited to welcome a new key leader as CFO in the coming year to help drive our future growth and success.”

Josefina Xanthou, who has served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer since 2022, has played a pivotal role in guiding EcoDataCenter through its transformation from a startup to a scale-up company. Under her leadership, the organization has built a strong financial foundation, positioning itself for significant growth ahead.

“Josefina has been an instrumental part of the company’s success, particularly in securing debt financing and, more recently, finalizing our bond issuance,” Michelson added. “Beyond her financial expertise, Josefina is a deeply valued colleague who brings tremendous energy and positivity to the team.”
