Founded in Sweden, EcoDataCenter is a European leader in AI infrastructure, building high-performance data centers combining world-class engineering with minimal climate impact.
With our EcoDataCenter sites, we offer unique opportunities based on different requirements and needs.
Sustainability that really makes a difference - Enabling the Green Transition
We are the European leader in high-performance digital infrastructure, defining the future model of data centers.
The world needs more sustainable data centers
From server rooms and network nodes to generators, cooling systems, and pumps, our teams are building an ecosystem of sustainability, power, and innovation.
We will be building new data centers in Dalarna for another 8-10 years. We therefore need more technicians, mechanics, electricians, network engineers, and security personnel to operate all the new halls.
We are hiring one person every week, all year round.
Using wood and clean energy, we are building the future model for how data centers drive global innovation and local development in Falun and Borlänge.
With circularity, local impact, energy focus and sustainability at the core, we challenge industries in how data centers are built and powered. We are a new base industry for new generations of AI, cloud services, and data-driven innovation.
Here, people are the difference.
AI reshapes industries and the energy landscape. To scale AI responsibly, the digital infrastructure must be powerful and sustainable.
By combining technological leadership with a unique sustainability model, we help accelerate digital innovation while strengthening local economies – creating jobs, skills and lasting value. For our customers, it's a strategic edge. For society, it’s an investment with tangible return.
That is why EcoDataCenter exists: To Power Progress.

Also known as Frequently Asked Questions
Data centers may look like anonymous buildings, but they are part of a critical digital infrastructure and are essential for businesses and organizations to manage data and perform advanced compute operations. Specifically, data centers enable medical research, businesses to scale rapidly, and societies to deliver important services within healthcare, finance and logistics. We build data centers that help power the local and the global society.
We design and operate some of the world’s most sustainable data centers, powered by renewable energy, cooled by Nordic air, and built to handle the enormous compute needs behind AI, cloud services, and digital infrastructure.
We’re growing at EcoDataCenter. In a few years, we’ll be 300–400 full-time employees, and you’ll be surrounded by around 800 people on site, including our construction and installation entrepreneurs.
Because you want a place where your skills and conscience are used simultaneously. We’re a hybrid between startup and industrial scale-up, structured without stiffness and future-focused yet grounded.
And we enjoy Mondays. Roughly 72% of employees report their coffee tastes better on-site (self-reported, but still impressive).
Simple, respectful, and human:
We don’t use trick questions and certainly no “describe yourself in seven adjectives” sessions.
You. If you have found the way here, it is probably time for us to connect. We are growing and need many eyes and opinions on the exciting challenges we and our industry face, so come and help us shape the future.
Both Swedish and/or English works for us. Many of us communicate in Swedish day-to-day, but our projects and customers require fluency in English. Additional language capacity will help us to grow as a team and company.
Nope. If you know the difference between a server and a switch, great. But we hire for potential, curiosity, and problem-solving above technical expertise. We’ll help you level up through onboarding, training, mentoring, and more “hey, this is actually really interesting” knowledge than you’d expect.
Supportive, ambitious, a little nerdy, and development oriented. We collaborate a lot, challenge each other often, and celebrate wins with fika or cake, big and small. We do sports, culture and food together on and off work.
We value flexibility. But we also believe some things are better done together (brainstorms, problem-solving, fika). Many roles offer hybrid opportunities, depending on responsibilities. If the job requires hands-on action in the data center, we’ll be upfront about it.
People who want to be part of an entrepreneurial company journey and who like thinking two steps ahead. People who can switch between creative and analytical mode without overheating. People who want their work to matter. If you enjoy solving challenges with global impact using a bit of humor, you’ll fit right in.
We invest in people the same way we invest in infrastructure: seriously and long-term. Expect skill development plans, training, workshops, cross-team collaboration, and opportunities to lead initiatives early.
Apply to some of our jobs anyway, connect through our career page, or send an open application. We know from experience that talent doesn’t always come with neat job titles attached. If you’re a good fit, we’ll find you the right spot.
Imagine a world where digital infrastructure is no longer just a silent backbone but a catalyst for global transformation. High-performance computing clusters power the next medical breakthroughs, AI models predict climate patterns with unmatched accuracy, and businesses scale beyond borders in seconds. This is a world where digital infrastructure don't just support progress, it drives it.
At the heart of this revolution are data centers, no longer seen as isolated, energy-consuming facilities but as engines of progress. These are hubs of intelligence, energy, efficiency, and sustainability, enabling humanity to push past the limits of what was once thought possible.
But true progress isn’t measured only in technological leaps; it’s felt in the lives of people. In this world, innovation doesn’t just happen in global capitals or elite institutions. It extends to the communities that host these digital powerhouses. The very infrastructure that fuels AI and cloud computing also enriches the local economy, providing skilled jobs, educational opportunities, and is a catalyst for innovative energy solutions.
This is not just a vision, it’s the blueprint for a world where digital infrastructure drives global innovation while ensuring that every community it touches thrives. Progress is no longer a privilege; it’s a shared, tangible reality.
