Powering Dalarna

Our way of giving back

Dalarna is our home turf. We build high-performance digital infrastructure in Borlänge and Falun that powers global innovation.

It's important that what we do together with others in Dalarna benefits the broader society in tangible ways.

There is a positive power in Dalarna that we want to contribute to. Because so many people here share their energy with us every day.

Powering Exploration

We support athletes and creators

Sports makes new generations move together. It helps them find new friends, discover new places, and challenge themselves. Sports can guide everyone, no matter their background or abilities. That is why Powering Communities will support local sports and athletes.

In culture, people are free to explore themselves and others. They can express questions in thoughtful ways, shift our perspectives and power change. It is a chance to be bold, for the better. The EcoDataCenter community fund is here for these social innovators.

Powering Progress

Building for the future

Our roots are in Dalarna. We want to cultivate our roots in the business and innovation ecosystem thriving here. And we want to support the cultural heritage and local traditions that make up the social fabric of living here.

What we want to support is the vision that the coming generations of innovators and explorers should have a better, richer and fuller life here in Dalarna.

Powering Communities is our committment to the places we call home and to the people we care about.

Movement, Progress, Community

Powering Dalarna

Movement

We want to create more movement in the world. On the global stage, where AI and digital services drive innovation that pushes boundaries.

We also want to foster movement in Dalarna. That happens when people meet and inspire one another. When people work together towards a common goal. When they celebrate each other's successes. This kind of movement is clearly visible on the sports fields and in arenas, both large and small.

That's why EcoDataCenter has created Powering Communities, a commitment to inspire movement in our surroundings.

Progress

We believe in the power of progress. What we do today will power society forward for many generations to come.

We want to encourage more children and young people to dedicate themselves to learn something new, to feel safe enough to explore, and bold enough to challenge the world.

Every effort that fosters creativity and curiosity among future generations will bring lasting, positive change.

That’s why EcoDataCenter’s community fund is an important step in Dalarna’s development: to create more places where people can thrive.

Communities

Together with others, we want to push boundaries in a sustainable way. We challenge our industry to rethink how modern data centers are built and operated. We know this approach can generate significant local value and benefits.

Community is about more than simply sharing a physical space. It’s about helping others, creating joy and connections where everyone feels seen, valued and included.

Together, we can build environments where new generations experience safety, self-confidence, and joy — powering resilient communities, today and tomorrow.
